There seems to be a lot of people that actually work abroad but have their offices in their home country and there is of course a great reason for doing this.

When you are working in your own villa or something along these lines you do not need to worry about that office space and this is because you have the freedom of working around the pool and just kicking back and enjoying the outside. Things that really improve include lunchtimes and this is because you have a lot more freedom on what you do. Cook up a BBQ and then perhaps have a dip in the pool to finish the hour off and you have the perfect work life.

Of course I am talking about villa in Moraira at the moment but you do not have to stick with this and even a proper serviced offices can help with things like this because you are still in another area and you have access to weather that is actually half decent you will find that your working day is a lot better. Workers will love getting up at lunchtime and sitting on the beach and this has been proven to increase productivity too which is great.

There are, as with everything, a couple of drawbacks and it seems like the main one is concentration. If you are sitting in a villa and trying to do a bit of work it can be pretty tough because there are constant distractions but in a country like the UK it really isn’t easy to be distracted by something like the weather.

For some people an office abroad is the perfect thing to do and for others it is a very bad idea indeed, the best way to tell is to rent a villa for a few weeks and try to do a bit of work out there.
