Commonly business speakers tend to be energetic and thought-provoking, and in some cases humorous and entertaining. The best business speakers share firsthand experiences with the audience and drawing parallels or lessons which can be applied to the topic at hand.
It would be redundant to state that a business speaker covers topics that are related to subject of the conference, be it for educational purposes or team building. Most business speakers like to begin their talks with an anecdote to break the ice, while some like to dive right into the subject at hand. A business speaker must be inspirational, regardless of the topic.
