Accessories For The Nexus S

The Nexus S will arrive with an amazing 4 inch touch screen display and WVGA resolution. It will be powered by a 1 GHz hummingbird a8 processor (the same as that used in Apple’s wildly successful iPhone 4). It will have the latest version of Google Android 2.3 installed on it, which is also known as Gingerbread and reputed to offer the smoothest Android experience yet. It will have at least 16 GB of storage built in to the system, as well as 512 MB of internal memory. With all of those neat and very high end specs this will surely be a phone on many wish lists.

That also means that no matter what you get the phone for, whether it be texting, email, browsing the web, music, video, camera, or gaming you should have not one single problem. That is about as good as it gets for most if not all smart phones.

Now that you know what the internals of the Nexus S are like, it’s time to take a look at the externals, especially in the case of some of the Nexus S accessories you might want to consider, whether you are buying the Nexus S itself for yourself or for someone close to you. The device does come with a set of standard accessories such like a battery, a charger, and a very simple sleeve to help keep some scratches away. That said, you will probably want to invest in a few accessories sooner rather than later, at least if you want to keep your smart phone in tip top condition for longer.

A Nexus S battery installed in the phone should give you at least 5 hours of talk time and several days on standby. However, in the real world, people tend to use their batteries up much sooner than the manufacturers would suggest they’re used, which is why you might want to consider picking up an extra battery as your first accessory.

Similarly, it’s a pretty good idea to pick up an extra Nexus S case. A case is pretty basic as far as accessories go, but if it keeps the phone from coming to an untimely end, it’s well worth considering. Be sure to invest in any case, simple or detailed, you don’t want your device to accidently fall and end up breaking, at least with a case there will be some protection.
