Regardless of which style you choose, it’s always best to have the option to open it up with an extra leaf or two, making it easy to seat many guests comfortably.

What lots of people do is that they are attempts to alter the physical being of the room. They want to force it to be something it can’t be. This is done by bringing in furniture that does not suit the space in any way, and also by bringing too many pieces into it.
