IS Golf Not Appealing To Younger People

There are a lot of youngsters out there that are really not interested in getting out there and playing golf but are there any reasons for this or do they simply not know what the sport is about?

Old Man Plays

If you think about school life today on the most part if you are seen to be playing golf with your Dad you are going to be picked on, there is no doubt about this at all, is this fair, I don’t think so.

Fashionable

Many golf clubs will only allow people that wear certain attire when it comes to getting out there and playing the game and if you are doing this let’s be honest, you are going to look an idiot. I can actually see why many clients will not actually want to play anything like this because of all of the mad clothes that they are made to wear.

The Positives

Golf is a very respected sport (until Woods messed that up) and if you are getting into this at a young age and you really work hard at it the chances are that you will become a very good player when you get that little bit older. My dad has been playing since he was a boy and he is one of the top players at the golf club located nearest to us.

Golf is actually very sociable indeed and playing a round with a few mates is a great way to wind down. The money (once you get to a professional level) is very good indeed and it can well be worth the troubles.

So pack those 12v batteries up get thosebattery accessories ready and put them in yourgolf trolleys and get out there for some golf!

So come on people get out there and enjoy the sport, the very least you can do is help your Dad out by caddying for him for a game, this would really make him happy and you may even find you like the sport.
