Football Wagering Internet – Who’ll Panthers Go With 1st?
The Nfl gambling internet year is only about over which means the nfl Draft is coming up fast.
You still have two games left to make an Football bet on with the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl but then the interest turns to the Carolina Panthers who have the first pick in the nfl Draft.
Carolina’s Choices
The Panthers are on the clock for April’s draft and potentially in position to take Stanford superstar qb Andrew Luck after victories by Cincinnati and Denver granted Carolina to grab the league’s worst record.
The Panthers were crushed when Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck decided to stay in school. They might have had an effortless number 1 pick if Luck had come out early. Now Carolina has a decision to make. Do they take Auburn’s Nick Fairley, Clemson’s Da’Quan Bowers or do they trade the pick. Fairley got a lot of press considering he was a key competitor in Auburn’s win over Oregon in the national championship. Bowers could in fact be more of an impact player since he’s a defensive end but at this time the buzz surrounds Fairley. In the last two seasons the Lions and Bucs took a defensive tackle with the second and 3rd picks total in the nfl Draft.
Carolina Panthers Needs
Carolina won only 2 games last year straight up and they weren’t much greater vs pro football gambling online prospects at the Sbg sports book going 4-12 ATS so they’ve got plenty of problems. They were last in the league in points per game and not much greater at 26th in the league in points permitted. The Carolina Panthers need a quarterback but there’s basically not one in this year’s draft who appears to be a franchise competitor. The Carolina Panthers took Jimmy Clausen last year and his selection already looks like a mistake. Carolina will not roll the dice again on a quarterback in the 1st or second round. Carolina has a new head coach in Ron Rivera who was San Diego’s defensive coordinator so they might choose to go with defense. Fairley or Bowers is the logical pick but Carolina furthermore horribly needs a wide receiver and there are some excellent ones in this year’s draft including Georgia’s A.J. Green. The Panthers do not have a 2nd round pick so they probably will play it safe and take Fairley or Bowers but with a lot of needs, trading that top pick may be a much greater idea.
