The fourth stage originated from the first stage prior to Indian Buddhism and was called Black Sect. The dissemination of contemporary Buddhism and its use in practical living is the main objective. Recognized by the Dalai Lama as leader of the Bon tantric traditions, His Holiness Lungtok Tenpai Nyima Rinpoche and four others went to India. They performed a ceremony in Yun Lin Temple and Lin Yun Monastery and gave the title “His Holiness” to Lin Yun; this is a first time where a Chinese is given such privilege.
Master Lin Yun had written and published four books. In 1990 he wrote his first book “Interior Design with Feng Shui”, which was considered as the Bible of Feng Shui. His latest book is entitled “Feng Shui Design: The Art of Creating Harmony for Interiors, Landscape, and Architecture”. He then created a video entitled “Feng Shui: Creating Environments for Success and Well-Being”. This also became a TV program on feng shui, a first for Western viewers.
