Dealing With Window Replacement Companies

A couple of years back I needed to replace my windows and being the tech savvy person that I am, I resorted to use the internet to look for a replacement window company. I used a search engine to search for one online through one of those “find it all sites”.

I emailed them and requested for a quotation. I had no idea then that I needed to have them come over for an on site consultation. It took them about four days to respond and requested that I supply some details relating to my home. I should have sensed the signs right there but being naïve I sent the details.

After a couple of days the quotation eventualy came through and I was thrilled. I was happy that this internet thing really works. I just had a few queries with the quote, nothing terrible just routine questions. I checked for their number on the quote and gave them a call.

Here is is when the real problems started. They kept transferring me to one person after another until I got fed up. When I finally talked to someone they told me the quote was a basic one – they would have to come my place for an actual one.

They didn’t arrive on the promised date and when I rang them up they were hardly apologetic at all. They went on about how busy they were and what time of the year it was and so on.

This was when it dawned on me that I was not getting anywhere with these guys and I cancelled the order.
