Kate Moss As You’ve Never Seen Her Before
Kate Moss must have found her silk wrap in her grandmother’s old clothes box. Either that, or she’s been shopping at the local thrift store!
Surely there’s no other way to explain the outfit she’s thrown on?
I still can’t even believe I’m saying this! Kate is normally flawless in her fashion sense…. a flawless fashion deity.
I mean, doesn’t everything look good on Kate Moss…. well, not anymore!

Apparently “It’s floral, gypsy-like, and utterly gorgeous. In fact, it looks vintage and very expensive.” Vintage…. you’re not kidding! But, very expensive, come on?! She’s clearly picked up that rusty old ‘gem’ whilst rummaging around at the local yard sale. Someone was trying to hawk their mother’s old clothes and then Kate swooped in and picked up a silk shawl on the cheap.
I mean, does anyone have any ideas what look she’s going for? Bohemian artist? Romantic gypsy? Color blind geriatric?
Is it the washed out colors of the pink t-shirt? Is it the tired blue jeans? Or is it the hard contrast of the boots and belt? There’s just something about this look that doesn’t work.
Don’t get me wrong, the dazzling golden tassels of the shawl immediately attract the eye, but they sit awkwardly against the black lapels and a fabric with all the appeal of a faded pair of curtains.
On the positive side, maybe the grandma look is a sign of new found stability for the fashion wild child, who’s had a 30th birthday party that notoriously descended in to an orgy, as well as a string of celebrity lovers over the years including the movie star Johnny Depp, magazine publisher Jefferson Hack and rocker Pete Doherty. She’s also believed to have had a fling with Russell Brand. Even Coutney Love has claimed to have had a liason with the model.
These days she’s looking increasingly settled with her rock-star boyfriend Kills front man, Jamie Hince. They are believed to have bought some land on the volcanic island of Stromboli together, they have matching anchor tattoos inked on their wrists and they were even rumored to have tied the knot in secret.
